At the Susan B. Krevoy Eating Disorders Program for Teens, we offer hope to young people who struggle and the families who love them. If your teen suffers from anorexia, bulimia or binge-eating disorder it has probably taken a toll on your family. Meals, outings and together time that used to be joyful might be fraught with discord, frustration and battles for control. You might feel despair and hopelessness as you watch your teen go through dramatic changes and engage in behavior that seems to defy reason. Take heart. Although eating disorders are serious psychiatric illnesses, they are treatable. Early intervention leads to the best outcome. Our program is an extension of our mission to provide the most convenient and cost-effective eating disorder treatment in the greater Los Angeles area. We offer after-school, evening and weekend treatment options that cater to the busy schedules of young people and their families. We maintain the lowest cash price in the area and accept most major insurance plans. We offer comprehensive treatment that involves individual, group and family therapy and nutritional counseling as well as coordination with outside health care professionals for medical care and monitoring. In a typical week your child will participate in individual and group therapy and nutritional counseling. Your family will be encouraged to attend regular family sessions in which you will receive support and education that helps your child to heal and deepens family bonds.

Our caring and professional staff includes licensed psychologists, supervised psychotherapy interns and a Registered Dietitian. We closely collaborate with outside professionals including school counselors, pediatricians and other health care professionals in order to treat and manage all aspects of the illness.
