Adult Eating Disorders Program
“When you do things from the soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.” –Jelaluddin Rumi
The Susan B. Krevoy Eating Disorders Program for Adults is a low fee, intensive outpatient program (IOP) for individuals that suffer from eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating and related disorders. The program brings together skilled and compassionate treatment professionals including licensed psychologists and psychotherapists, supervised pre- and post-doctoral interns, certified art therapists, registered dietitians and a certified yoga instructor with clients in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes healing.
After an initial evaluation, an individually structured program that takes into account the unique needs, challenges, schedule and financial situation of the client will be recommended.
Individually structured treatment plans include three to four evenings per week and offer individual, group and family psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic groups, art therapy, nutritional counseling and yoga. We collaborate with outside professionals including psychotherapists, medical doctors, psychiatrists and social workers to coordinate care.
