Susan Krevoy is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified psychoanalyst specializing in the area of eating disorders. She has helped design and direct various inpatient eating disorder programs and has been teaching courses on eating disorders for the past 20 years. In 2000 Dr. Krevoy founded the non-profit Susan B. Krevoy Eating Disorders Program.
Mary Barbour is a registered dietitian nutritionist who has diverse experience working as a dietitian at Providence St. John’s Health Center, medical clinics, fitness centers, and as a personal chef. Mary has an MS in Nutrition Sciences as well as an MA in Clinical Psychology. Mary is currently receiving training as a therapist in eating disorders and substance abuse at the Krevoy Institute for Eating Disorders and LAISPS Psychoanalytic Institute respectively. She also counsels individual adults, families, and couples at the Southern California Counseling Center.
Victoria Curea is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and senior candidate in analytic training at LAISPS. Adjunct Faculty at Antioch University, she teaches courses in assessment, psychopathology, and process. In her practice, she specializes in eating disorders, personality disorders and relational problems.
Shani Mara Breiter is a registered dietitian nutritionist who works with adults, adolescents and children with eating disorders and disordered eating. Shani worked at Cedars Sinai Medical Center as a clinical dietitian. She also worked at the California Center for Healthy Living guiding individuals through treatment programs for eating disorders to optimize healthy nourishment while reducing tension around food and body image. In her private practice, Shani works with individuals and enjoys working within a family setting.
Steven N. Witlin, MD specializes in internal medicine and is member of the American College of Physicians. He is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai and Brotman Hospitals in the Department of Medicine. He is medical director and consultant to many of the movie studios.
Lisa Crilley is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in Eating Disorders both at LAISPS and here at the Eating Disorders Program under the supervision of Dr. Susan Krevoy. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, relationship problems, self-destructive and/or self-defeating attitudes or behaviors, mood and personality disorders in her private practice.
Gabriela Pastor is a Licensed Trilingual Marriage and Family Therapist with vast experience in Eating Disorders. She has trained at The Maple Counseling Center and has specialized eating disorder training from Krevoy Institute for Eating Disorders and LAISPS Psychoanalytic Institute. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety, depression, anger, self-harm behavior and relational issues. She conducts therapy in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Dr. Terry Simpson specializes in psychodynamic treatment modalities as well as developmental neurobiology and it’s impact on identity formation. He has worked with a multitude of patient populations, including at-risk youth and adolescents, individuals suffering with eating disorders, addictions, anxiety, depression, and dual diagnosis. He treats individuals, couples, families, and groups at the Krevoy Institute.
