Eating disorders affect the whole body but neurological research is uncovering important areas for clinicians consider when working with individuals suffering from anorexia, bulimia, orthorexia, and other forms of weight regulation. This course will review and highlight important findings in neurology to conceptualize links for ED behaviors with their neural landmarks and increase awareness about how these defenses work to repress deeply held, often uncomfortable or unsafe, feeling states.
