It is with a heavy heart that as of November 30th, I will be closing the Krevoy Institute for Eating Disorders.

It was 22 years ago that I was able to pursue my dream of reaching many more people suffering from eating disorders with the kind of treatment that I’d been able to offer in my private practice, regardless of their ability to pay. That was the genesis of the Krevoy Eating Disorders Program, opened in 2000.

I am so thankful to have been able to organize and direct this Progam. We were able to help thousands who were suffering from eating disorders, teach hundreds of therapists how to deal with these eating disorders, and provide a service to the community by offering low fees to those who couldn’t afford treatment.

I am so grateful to every intern and licensed therapist who became a part of our staff over the 22 years. You not only provided a wonderful service to others, but also helped create such a meaningful community for all of us.

I am so proud of the work we have accomplished, and will no doubt miss it, but at the same time I am ready to explore my next chapter.

With all my gratitude,
Susan Krevoy, Ph.D.
